About Sahasraa Foundation

Sahasraa Foundation is a not for profit privately funded organization based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania founded in 2019 by Bhuvana and Kumar Srinivasan. This private foundation is their way of aligning their strong passion for the Carnatic music and giving back and enriching the community they live in.

Our mission is to promote and showcase emerging as well as established talent in carnatic music either independently or through sponsorships to other like-minded organizations.

Our primary goals are to:

Provide a performing platform for the emerging talent across the United States and Canada by organizing concerts and annual youth festivals.
Promote budding artists from India touring the United States.
Selectively organize concerts of established artists.
Collaborate with other organizations to establish a need-based scholarship/grants for Carnatic music students.
