Bhuvana is an avid Carnatic music fan. She hails from a musical family and has had formal training under Mrs. Jalaja Sridharan and Sri Parthasarathy of Mayiladuthurai for over a decade. Sahasraa Foundation is a brainchild of Bhuvana, specifically created to promote and showcase upcoming talent in the field.
S. Umamaheswaran

Umamaheswaran is a Carnatic music vocalist based in Mylapore, Chennai. He hails from a musical family; his grandfather underwent gurukulavasam under the legendary musician Maharajapuram Viswanatha Iyer. Umamaheswaran had his initial training under Mrs. Jalaja Sridharan and Sri Parthasarathy of Mayiladuthurai. He had his advanced training under Mumbai Srimathi Balamani and Sangeethakalanidhi T.K. Govinda Rao. Since 1998 he has been performing in all the major sabhas of Chennai, Mumbai and other cities. He is also an asthana vidwan of Kanchi Kamakoti Mutt.

Kumar Srinivasan is an ardent fan of Carnatic music and is deeply committed to encouraging and promoting young talent in this field. Through the Sahasraa Foundation, he supports initiatives that showcase emerging performers as well as high-caliber artists who have yet to receive wider recognition, helping to sustain this rich tradition. In his professional career, Kumar has held several senior leadership roles in global biopharmaceutical organizations and is widely recognized for driving innovation, growth, and transformative partnerships. He currently serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of a biotechnology company dedicated to developing curative therapies for blood cancers.
